Avery Bang
Avery Bang spent the first 15 years of her career of building, leading, and coaching teams across the world and now focuses on finding and investing in other social entrepreneurs doing the same. Previously as President and CEO of Bridges to Prosperity, she helped connect over a million people in rural communities with permanent safe access to key resources like health care, education, markets, and employment through trail access. Currently, Avery is a Senior Principal at the Mulago Foundation based out of San Francisco. Originally from Iowa, Avery has both a BS degree in Civil Engineering and a BA degree in Studio Art from the University of Iowa, a graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and an MBA from the Säid Business School at the University of Oxford.
