Thanks for joining us for dinner as part of this year's Global Philanthropy Leaders Summit.
We look forward to seeing you at the Swiss Ambassador’s residence for a thoughtful discussion on labor migration and the benefits it can bring for those on the move, their families, and host communities.
Representatives from three organizations will guide the discussion:
- Rebekah Smith from Labor Mobility Partnerships will focus on connecting global talent with opportunities and how philanthropy can help reduce inequality by supporting mobile jobs and workers.
- Madushika Lansakara from Helvetas, who is herself a migrant born to migrants, will present new research from Nepal on 12 key moments in the migration cycle.
- Elizabeth Gozzer from besage.ai will discuss harnessing AI to help people on the move using the iLeader coaching app, which can support migrants in informed decision-making.

Labor Mobility Partnerships
Labor Mobility Partnerships (LaMP) creates transformative livelihood opportunities for people from low and middle-income countries through access to good jobs in high-income countries. It accomplishes this by (1) working within existing unfilled visas to demonstrate novel solutions that address barriers preventing workers and employers from using them, and (2) multiplying the impact of these programs by using the evidence from them to build constituencies for policy change to open new visa pathways and incubate a self-sustaining industry of global mobility solution providers.
